Mold Classes
Individuals in need of a New York State Mold Remediation Contractor license should take this 3 - day course to get certified. All contractors who perform mold remediation or abatement work are required to take this course to stay compliant with New York State regulations per Section 931.2 and avoid fines. New York State regulations require contractors who operate a company that performs mold remediation services or write/approve mold remediation work plans to have a mold remediation contractor license from an accredited training program. Upon successful completion of the course, student will be able to submit an application to New York State Department of Labor Licensing unit to obtain a license.
To receive a NYS Mold License you must have a valid NYS DMV ID number, in the form of a drivers license or non-driver state ID card. You do not have to be a resident of NY to apply for a non-driver ID card.
